Studio Karmeh was founded through the creative partnership of Lubna Badran and Ernest Saqa, a collaboration that began in 1999. Lubna, with her architectural background and passion for furniture design, and Ernest, who inherited his craft from his father—a master craftsman—found a shared vision in merging design and tradition. Working alongside his father deeply rooted them in the values of craftsmanship, while their combined experiences allowed them to bridge heritage with innovation, shaping a contemporary design language that honors the past while redefining the present.
